Why is learning esperanto an amuzing game which develops intelligence?

ESPERANTO.

ENGLISH. How many words could be formed in Esperanto from a single root, by the simple application of affixes (there are roughly 40 of them) and the language regular grammar rules? It is a question which is often thought of by anyone who is studying Esperanto for a certain time. I don't know the answer, by it actually must be more than a hundred. It must be taken into account that to any one root it may be applied one or several affixes at a time; and also prepositions are allowed to be used on this purpose.
Today I decided to have a try and I took the root "grand-"(big, grand) and after half an hour I could see that it would take me several hours to try and exhaust its possibilities. I will leave down here just some of them, so that the reader can guess what the final result could be like. This test may be made with any word of the language. And the root would always remain changeless.
(Note: the other main way to make new words is by  the union of two roots, as is show in the picture above, according to rule number 11. But that would definitely be the subject for another article)
